He began his career in 2014 as an estimator and detailer in the NYC Metro area, where he built a reputation for precision, reliability, and a strong understanding of project workflows. His hands-on experience across a wide range of commercial and residential projects gave him a clear view of the challenges contractors face when it comes to accurate documentation and efficient project coordination.

In 2022, driven by a desire to bring higher-quality support to builders, fabricators, and project managers, Kyaw launched Thurston Contracting construction documentation service. His startup focuses on providing comprehensive solutions—including estimating, detailing, and project management support—to help companies streamline their operations and deliver projects with confidence.
